nope you can challenge who ever, cos you might be un easy allies, fighting for the better defensive positions, the resource depots and so on! i just made the comment as i was thinkin of doin a set of apoc games on a sunday to end the campaign sorta thing but i wont bother with that i dnt think.
yep its true we'll all get are arses handed to us by the dark space elfs! :(

reminder

can every one print off a copy of the phoenix 12 campaign rules and the assets aswell that are on page 1 of this topic, preferably on seperate peices of paper, i.e. keep the assets seperate from the rules and not overlapping on the same page!

also please have a 2000 point army list ready to give me wednesday evening and i will do a quick breifing and answer any questions you have on that day.

see you all wednesday, o and please organise games 1 week in advance rather than turn up on the day and finding that people have games, or not enough peeps have turned up, you know what i mean?

Paul,

While we retain the army selection we specify at the start of the campaign, the actual composition of the troops used week-by-week can vary can't they ?

Happy to provide you with my list this coming wednesday, but it'll be obsolete once the game has finished ;)

Hi Paul, thanks for letting me know.

However, did you know Phil is also running the FOW campaign in September? At least 5 members of the 40K campaign are also playing the FOW campaign, so you will have a lot less players in September. I did raise this point at the club a few weeks ago, and said the 40K campaign should run Oct/Nov, as then everyone could play in it, and also that a lot of club members are away in August, so its not a good month to do a campaign.

However, thanks for running the campaign, its just a shame it clashes with another one - I would have loved to play in both campaigns.

i realise this paul, but the reason i have done it now is a) it has already been postponed and many people wana get on and play it, and b) i have been told it might be better to run it oct / nov am not going to run it oct / nov as i am in my 3rd year of college at that time, i will have very little time to organise the campaign, organise a apocalypse sunday and so on, education is the priority im sure youll agree

well then if people wana do fow, then the debate goes on if they should play in the start of the 40k campaign if theyre gona drop out half way through the campaign, which seems a bit pointless to me.......... and a lot of the fow players do guard i believe and a loss of good players isnt damaging to the campaign due to how i have written it, as some guard armies were going to go renegade to level out the sides for the apoc games.

unless phill is willing to put the fow campaign back 1 month as the 40k is due to finish on the 29 september, ill mention it wednesday at club.
