Hard Plastic 15mm Russian Infantry and Tanks

Hard Plastic 15mm Russian Infantry and Tanks

Guys,

keep an eye open on the Plastic Soldier website;

www.theplasticsoldiercompany.co.uk

They have announced that they will shortly be releasing a boxed set of 120 hard plastic Russian infantry in Summer Uniforms in 15mm. They will follow this with a range of easy to assemble 15mm WW2 vehicles. I couldn't see any release dates or prices, but their current 1/72 (20mm) boxed sets of 57 figurs costs ten pounds.

Cheers

Their website makes no reference to 15mm ranges just 1/72nd (20mm) - where did you see the announcement re 15mm?

Plastic soldier where at Attack last weekend with a sample of their 15mm russian infantry, and I must say they looked every bit as good as metals. I'm looking forward to seeing what else they come up with.

The unfortunate news was that they were suggesting a possible price of between sixteen and seventeen pounds. I did say that I thought that that was rather high in comparison against existing pricing from Old Glory (100 figures for eighteen pounds, or fifteen after their standard multipack discount). The price isn't fixed yet. Hopefully they will bring it down to a more attractive amount.

As James said, the painted figures which they had on display were very nice, now just to see what a normal person does with the figures.

James - did you ask whether any bases come with the figures?

Cheers

No I didnt think about bases. They had there samples on FoW bases, i think i'd be surprised if they supplied something similar in the box.
